SHAKESBEER returns! The Theatre Lunatico ensemble once again brings the spirit of Shoebox Shakespeare upstairs to La Val’s Pizzeria, performing a pared-down version of MACBETH that will take you from summer to spooky season. This FREE, raucous staged reading will include a drinking game inspired by the text. So bring a friend and enjoy an evening of un-stuffy theatre. Grab another beer or slice of pizza at any point, while enjoying a performance that captures the intimacy, immediacy, and depth of Shakespeare’s poetic text.

Theatre Lunatico’s Shoebox Shakespeare Series launched in September, 2015, with a production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and the intention of bringing compelling and accessible productions of Shakespeare’s works ‘up close and personal.’ The ensemble returns to A Midsummer Night’s Dream for their first ShakesBeer reading–Friday, May 3rd at 7pm.
